Tis the season..........
As the October days get shorter and the nights colder it is time for me to switch from fall and Halloween to Christmas. I'm working on drawings and paintings, Kringles, pillows and many other new holiday items. I will be at this years Christmas in Lowell and possibly a few other shows. I will be sure and post dates and times where The Rare Hare Studio will be this holiday season.

Fulton Street ARTisan Market
You can find The Rare Hare Studio at the FSAM on Sundays now through the end of September from 11am to 3pm. The market has so much to offer, food, entertainment and of course great vendors of art.
As always The Rare Hare Studio has an eclectic assortment of art to choose from. Paintings and drawings, critters, Halloween, Christmas, and so much more. New this season, the studio can now take credit cards. Stop by and say hello.

Spring is in the air........
As the days now grow longer and the sun shines a little warmer on us we say good bye to winter. As much as I enjoy Winter I find myself hopeful and excited about Spring, the new birth that we see all around us in nature as well as our chance to start a new with ourselves. We are only limited by ourselves as to what we can accomplish, this is a life lesson I'm still trying to learn.
I find myself inspired by flowers, those of you that know me should not be surprised by this. I have been trying my hand at pastels and seeing if I can ad another element to my ever growing palette of mediums I enjoy.

Cupid
That little baby in the diaper with the bow and arrows has grown up. This Cupid certainly isnt the same guy we have seen in all the masters paintings, but with Valentines day this month it was only a matter of time before he showed up at the Rare Hare Studio, unfortunately his arrow missed me.
