The roses have been painted red, the croquet course set, and the guests are starting to arrive. Where is the Queen, still looking for her stolen tarts or screaming, "Off with their heads?"
The Mad Hatter is here, along with the White Rabbit and the Cheshire Cat
As the trumpets blew and the grand procession walked through the garden the Queen of Hearts followed. Dressed in her regal red and black gown, couffed hair, and royal crown.
She was not in a mood that was for sure, no one wanted to play against the Queen, everyone liked their heads.
She had her flamingo.......
and the hedgehog was as ready as it could be.
The game was about to begin.
The players all played at once, none of them waiting for a turn, quarreling all the while, and fighting for hedgehogs; and in a short time the Queen was in a furious passion, and went stamping about, and shouting, " Off with his head!" or "Off with her head!" about once a minute.
